I’m Avery Roth, a CEO coach with a background in finance and applied psychology. I bring a calm, composed presence, a finely attuned instinct for people and pressure, and a sharp performance edge. My private equity-backed CEO clients hire me to elevate execution, strengthen judgment, and sustain performance under pressure.

 
 

Example engagements include working with CEOs who are: new to working with private equity investors; first-time chief executives; leading businesses through new phases such as turnarounds or integrations; or need help managing internal friction or misalignment that is impacting business performance.

My approach is a working partnership that blends rigorous strategic thinking with deep psychological insight. First, CEOs and I think through challenges. Then, I offer strategic and psychological insights for consideration. We hash out plans to whatever extent is needed, and the CEO goes out and executes steadily knowing I’m in the wings if needed for on call reinforcement or during our regular sessions.

My background blends finance, leadership strategy, and applied psychology. So I bring both the operating mindset and human depth needed to support CEOs in high-stakes environments. I think like an operator, read people quickly, and coach with psychological precision.

I’ve worked with high performers across sectors and have seen how pressure can distort judgment, team dynamics can get tense, and execution can easily begin to slip. My role is quiet, focused, and exacting so leaders can hear themselves think, orient themselves to what matters most, and deliver results.
